David Leon Fans: We Shine a light on upcoming (?) projects

In Development and rumours suggest---very likely to maybe, just maybe, be happening?

•  David is working alongside The Forge to develop an original drama “The Listener” (or "Salvation Place"?)-  a story inspired by a real life prison psychologist, tasked with the responsibility of rehabilitating traveler inmates, which he will write and direct.  
• David is working alongside BBH London/ Black sheep to adapt his short form documentary for Nowness about Ruqsana Begum, the only female British Muslim to be a world champion in any sport, into a narrative feature film 
• "Shy Bairns",   David is adapting a companion of short films into a feature, being developed with BBC Film

• "Spirit" Proposed drama series with David as writer 
• Vera's Brenda Blethyn herself has given ITV the seal of approval to carry on with a David Leon (Joe Ashworth) spin off and has said she would definitely make a guest appearance!  let's keep those fingers crossed!
•  Just a title---"Brother in the Land"--no notes on David's role  

These were once rumoured, but now seem to be on the way back burner and may unfortunately be dead in the water.

• "Driven"---on IMDb.com since 2012.  A thriller that was to be directed by David and starring Damien Lewis,  looks like it is permanently shelved.
•  Listed on David's website since 2021, “Land of Hope and Glory” with BBC Films  is still showing as 'in development' but there is no news and in this case no news isn't good news.
• The same  holds true for "You Could Do Something Amazing with Your Life" based on  final days of vigilante gunman Raoul Moat.  This was to be adapted for television and there is little to no information available.  Let's hope that changes!
