 We came and we toured!  I can  highly recommend the Vera tour offered thru Viator or BritMovieTours.  

And lots happened in my absence!  

•  David’s short film, "Barnardos: Because Childhood Lasts a Lifetime" is shortlisted at CiclopeFestival.   https://www.ciclopefestival.com/categories/   **UPDATE October 7---David is now a FINALIST! ***UPDATE October 9---unfortunately he did not place in the top 3 
• David is also nominated in the Supporting Actor category of the TV Times Awards.  Please vote now!    https://www.futureevents.uk/tvtimes2025/voting 
• David's short film "Truman Converse Blues" is shortlisted for best music video editing at the British Arrow Awards.  Congrats to Matt Gabzdyl.  https://www.britisharrows.com/  
• Discovery:  short advert from 2021.  Live Life Free with Freesat.  David is credited as co-director on the shoot (I'm assuming the live, non CGI parts?)  

Happy 6 month anniversary to us !  However, this website is now officially in vacation mode!  My husband and I are travelling to England (Newcastle, London, Canterbury) and France (Bordeaux) for a few weeks.  I may update the Facebook page with some Vera location shots (we're taking an actual VERA tour!) , but that might be it until October.  See you soon and thanks for visiting the site :)

New (to me!) photos from 2014 Stars of Tomorrow event.   

A select group of the 2014 stars, and several alumni from past years (including David Leon), were celebrated at an invitation-only international industry dinner at Kettners.

It marked the first time that Screen’s Stars of Tomorrow had been presented at LFF. The event was supported by British Council and Casting Society of America (CSA), and held in association with We Are UK Film.

And voiceover work from 2019 discovered!  Then and Now:  London Transport (Channel 5)

At long last!  I've found this film.  

It's your chance!  vote now in the National Television Awards.  "Vera" is nominated for best returning drama and Brenda Blethyn is nominated for best performance.  Winners announced September 10th.
