A little bit about me? why not.

Wife of 35 years, mom to 3 young men, mother-in-law, sister, daughter, Dog Mom,  and most importantly Nana to 1.  Self proclaimed Britbox nerd, anglophile, traveler extraordinaire, romance reading addict and entertainment news junky.  

I'm a retired nurse, having completed my degree at the  University of Toronto in 1985.  I went on to do post grad specialization in Gerontology.  I was a case manager for more than a decade and retired to raise my family and help with the family business.  We've since moved to the country where we enjoy lake life and my office now has great views.    Retirement is still years away (unfortunately) since I've convinced myself that I'm the key to the entire operation (I'm really not).  

I started creating websites over 25 years ago for our business, taking a number of courses in HTML and Java, but it seems Go Daddy and other hosting sites have taken the need for that skill away.  Can honestly say, it feels a little less creative now, but certainly is much easier.  

I watched the entire series of Vera twice before I looked up the actors involved.  I was curious about David in particular and wanted to know more.  I was shocked at the lack of info out there and decided to start some research.  Slowly  my computer started filling up with photos, video and links and I decided I needed to organize it all and share with the world.  He really deserves more recognition, not only for his acting (which I wish he would do more of!), but his skills as a writer, director and producer.
